Do they still consider themselves part of Canada ;) :hide:

They never did.

All are welcome here in Canada. If you think you disagree with YOUR government about anything, we got you beat currently anyway. Unless you are the leader / in the cabinet of your respective country I don't see how you can be held responsible for anything anyway.

Americans are great people. Canadians aren't bad either.

This to shall pass.

I have visited many countries, and lived for a couple of years in 2 different countries.

What I have always found is that if you are polite, respectful and respect their culture they return that fully!

I think all countries have that in common, so I will continue to follow those rules that have served me well.

Close relatives just got back from a vacation there.

They love any tourists spending up there but just don't watch the news while you're there...

We've been planning our RV Alaska trip since last summer. We'll spend 3-4 weeks in the Yukona and NWT then on to Alaska then a few weeks traveling back through Canada. One of the three couple's wife is from Alberta and a dual citizen. We'll be visiting a friend near Edmonton who snowbirds in Arizona. From all indications as of now the most might be a tax to enter Canada, but that is just speculation.

Thanks for an interesting discussion
