Any thoughts on potential economic fallout from the first indictment? Or is it already priced into the market?

I'm not losing any sleep over it.

The market was already less than optimal anyway. In recent months I was (and am) in "hold on tight, don't sell, and wait it out" mode.

The markets (nor I) care about whether or not a former President paid off a so called “hooker”.

If it hurts his chance of being reelected that could be good or bad for the market.

Futures calm for now.

But it suggests the debt ceiling fight may be tougher to resolve.

Plus it adds uncertainty. Will these types of tactics become commonplace in the US as we sometimes see them in other parts of the world with what we have regarded as less healthy political systems?

Not a good thing for markets in the long run I would not think.

Thanks for the interesting discussion. :flowers:
