TrumpRX.gov - What Ya Think?

Anything over 100% lower and they are paying you to take the prescription. Math is hard... and for some people words are harder.

PS. I suspect that you are not the source of the "...800% lower? 900% lower? 1000% lower? 500% lower?..." but just heard it from an unreliable source.
The source is probably the media air-head who told us that if Bezos liquidated all his assets he could give $1,000,000 to each American. Or the government officials in my state who over estimated the benefits of the carbon tax by 9500%.

The department originally reported that 7.5 million metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions would be reduced. The actual amount is around 78,000.

If the site is just a clearing house, it's still a net positive in that it puts more pressure on the PBM middle-man scheme (more people shop price, irrespective of their drug plan). Entrenched things like this change slowly, unfortunately.

It is just a black page to me in four different browsers.

The math on that doesn’t quite work. A price can’t be “400% lower” because the biggest possible reduction is 100% (that would mean it’s free), or you are getting paid to buy the drug.

If Zepbound’s list price is around $1,200-$1,300 and the site shows about $300, that’s roughly a 75% discount, not 400%. Still a massive discount, just not how percentages work. Glad you were able to find this discount for your DW.
I think we've covered this already.

And yet you continued to poke that same bear. Stop poking and it won't be covered again. :)
Only poked once - and it wasn't a bear when I poked. Just revealing my lousy math skills for all to see (and it was thoroughly pointed out - thank you very much). No need to point it out again IMHO but, hey, it's a free country.

My bad, I thought you were referring to some past discussion as it has come up before and I said something similar. Your mathin' rates right up there with another guy, and well I won't mention his name for fear of becoming political. :)

I have the Wellcare Part D plan that has $0 premium and $0 cost for the three drugs I take on an ongoing basis. Hard to see how they make money but that's not my problem. Although it's not the closest, I use CVS for my pharmacy. Last week, I had a lotion prescribed and CVS wanted ~$35 for copay. I asked them to check GoodRx which they cheerfully did and saved me over $10. As for TrumpRX, it's not a scam but it appears to me not particularly useful as few, if any, generic drugs are included. Seems more like a cynical attempt to gain some bragging rights about lowering drug costs.

As I understand it, and probably wrong, even at $0, Wellcare is paid something by Medicare each month, just like Advantage Plans are paid $1,000+ per enrollee. Wellcare bids an amount to Medicare, covers expected drug costs, admin fees and the all important margin. Wellcare seems to manage their margins better than most others. Make it $0 to the enrollee and they just do huge volumes with monthly payment from Medicare. Then there is the back-end fees/rebates paid by drug manufacturers.

TrumpRX not a scam, but so far I've not seen a benefit of what's offered vs. other widely available options.

Heh, heh, bettin' the guy is richer than I am. :2funny:
