W2R Sad News

RIP W2R as you will be missed by many here. She always set a good example of kind thoughtful responses that confirmed her optimism and zest for life!!

If I may speculate, I think she subconsciously knew her time was short, even before her diagnosis, so she enjoyed her time to the fullest!

Fully agree, although I suspect the past few months it was no longer subconsciously, which is especially sad. I think I look at things differently than many here. Maybe one of her greatest contributions to us at ER.Org, was to remind us all, time is short, enjoy it while you can because when it starts going downhill, it's too late.

I am so sorry to hear this. She was one of my favorite posters also. Loved her optimism and joy of life. Condolences to Frank and to her daughter and family.

I'm getting caught up and just read this sad news.

I always read her posts, loved her attitude about retirement. And I enjoyed how she posted about her companion Frank. When she bought her Dream House next door to him that just seemed like such a great situation.

I hope she knew how important she was to the folks here.

Wish to add my condolences to her loved ones. I so apperciated her positive cheerfulness. Heaven is lucky...

I hope that Frank also has family that he can lean on.

So sad. Enjoy the next phase of retirement, W2R. If anyone deserves it, it’s you! Your joyfulness and positive attitude shall be greatly missed down here.

Her optimism and joy at the simple pleasures in retirement were infectious. My deep condolences to her soul mate Frank.

No wonder the stock market is in a slump! No more whees! I remember when she retired and adopted W2R as her new name. I hope the the forum admin can make sure Frank reads this thread. I thought the gate in their fence was the ideal symbol for being close friends but not too close. Would have loved to met them!

I'm so sad to hear this news. She was one of the first to welcome me to the forum, and I always appreciated her perspective, positive attitude, and respect for others. Condolences to her family, and to Frank. RIP, W2R.
