"Waterless" car wash

Hey, it works! Really it's "no-rinse" car wash, but I only need to use one gallon of Uncle Jerry's finest water to wash two cars and it leaves them sparkling. I don't even have to back them out of the garage. I never knew that there was an alternative method for home car washing besides the hose.

The concentrate is pricey, but it works out to about 25 cents per car. This is the brand that I bought:

I use an RV wash for the cars, it does a great job of keeping them looking great. Speaking of which, I think I'm going to do that today...great weather for it!

Oily cars hold the bugs better! Plus, road tar will dissolve on the car's surface and you will prevent rust from starting.

I was taught to use an ounce or so of diesel in the wash bucket with the soap. Might try this magic stuff, though what the YouTube posts call dirty doesn't really match my version of dirty...

A friend of my Father's was a fireman and I remember him saying they wiped down the firetruck with a rag soaked in kerosene.

Sorry, but rain does not 'clean' the car... it will take some dirt and grime off, but it is still pretty dirty... just buy a white car and after a rain wipe off a section and find out....

These products have been around for a while. Johnson Wax sold Holiday in the 60s but discontinued due to poor sales. It was hard to convince people they did not need water and for many price/value did not work. The product I liked most was a soap filled sponge. No need for the bucket but as far as I know, it was not commercialized.
