It’s not a new offering, but WellCare has called me over 20 times in the past month, sent emails, and now are sending text messages, offering “new benefits”. I finally spoke with someone to find out what they were selling, and sure enough, it’s a Medicare Advantage plan. That’s not new, but this full court press is, and they’re ignoring my requests to stop calling.

Is anyone else getting this from them?

No. We're Wellcare customers for Part D but that's all. No calls or harassment as of today

Yes, I have gotten calls from them. I never answer, since they are not my provider. they do leave automated voicemails.

They are currently chasing DH.

YES... they say they want to talk about 'my' Wellcare plan... well, I only have the drug coverage....

The first call it took me almost 2 minutes to figure out they were NOT talking about my drug plan as they were talking about 'all the benefits you are not getting'... so asked specifically is this about an advantage plan... they said yes... I said "I do not want one and please do not call'...

Well, have been called a few more times but cut it off very quickly... I answer because I do not know if it IS something to do with the drug plan..

Wellcare has left countless voice mails during the last few months with offers to help me make the most of my prescription plan. I just delete the messages but I am sure they would offer an Advantage plan if I called them back. But I do like the price of their Plan D and will keep it.

I'm very wary of giving out my real hone number if I think it will be used in the future to pester me. I think I even have WellCare Part D but they must not have my real phone number because they haven't called.

OTOH, I'm getting tons of mail touting Advantage plans right now.

I dodged their calls for weeks. When I answered and found out it was about MA I asked them to put me on the don't call list and they did.

Yeah, I kinda hate this time of year. Lots of cold calls, mail dumps and Joe Namath on TV. I guess it will end for a while on Dec. 7(?).

Is anyone else getting this from them?
No, but this is why I have a landline that doesn't ring unless they listen to the instructions and follow those instructions.

When Wellcare announced the $0 Part-D plans, I heard that this was going to happen. I guess there's power in having a good list of suckers, er, I mean "customers" :)

Fingers crossed!! DH has never been pestered either even though he switched to their lowest cost Part D a year ago.

I have been getting contacted by UHC/AARP asking me to fill out their health questionnaire, by phone (message) and by mail. No way José.
