What’s your EDC (Every Day Carry)?

Wallet, keys, and phone, obviously. In addition to that, I carry a small Swiss army knife as several people have mentioned.

I carry the keys to my mom's place all the time now. I used to only grab them off my dresser when I was heading over there but started keeping them on me always in case of emergency while I'm out and about.

A recent addition is a 3-ft tape measure. I have started carrying this because of my reselling business, specifically china which I now sell a lot of. I always had one in the fanny pack I use when I go to estate sales but now I often find myself stopping into thrift shops randomly and having a tape measure is a must for deciding whether or not to buy certain china items.

I used to carry a pen but finally stopped. I didn't use it that often. I often stabbed myself when reaching into my pocket. I occasionally got ink spots on my pants. I got tired of losing them when they fell out at the store when I pulled out my wallet or keys and didn't notice.

I have a keychain and small wallet carried in my front pocket. The
keychain has a key that switches to a pocket knife. It is the handiest pocket knife as I never lose or misplace it.

Hmmm. A rather large, fully loaded, pocketbook, with various and sundry items, including, but not limited to: keys, phone, glasses, insurance cards, tissues, combs, personal items, etc.

Many years ago, there was a cartoon with Felix the Cat, who had a magical bag. Anything could come out of that bag. Now, unlike Felix, I don't ever recall pulling a lamp out of my bag but . . .

Money clip w/CC, debit, ID, and cash, and my phone. If I'm driving I take the car keys.

For the carry I choose to talk about :), keyring with keys (for 2 cars and 2 for house locks), small LED flashlight, and 5 library/shopping rewards cards (though I may get rid of those as at many of these places I can just use my phone number), wallet (1-3 CCs, ATM card, medical and auto insurance cards, AAA Costco card, $20-$40 in bills), phone, handkerchief.

As little as possible.

For vacation this year I traded in my regular wallet, which I've had for years, for a small RFID blocking wallet that only has a few credit card slots, a spot for my license, and a place to stuff a bit of cash folded in half. It's marginally larger than a credit card itself. I like it so much it's now my regular wallet.

So the wallet, my phone, the car fob with the house key and gym membership card attached, and except for sunglasses when driving, that's it. I've ditched the grocery store membership cards for virtual cards in the phone. I still have my library card attached to the keys but since they now have an app for checking out books I think I'll ditch that as well.

Over the years I gradually moved to smaller and smaller purses and enjoyed the freedom of carrying less stuff. I now carry a wallet that has a slot for my cell phone. I clip my keys to a ring on the wallet, and that's it.

I have a P-38 can opener that I’ve had on my key ring for nearly 50 years. We lived in the Canal Zone in high school and I found it in the jungle with some discarded c-rats. It’s a handy little item.

Well, as a female, I always have in my purse: wallet, which has a thin, cc sized multi emergency tool thingy that has a razor edge, car key with tiny LED flashlight attached, key chain with both kids house keys, RFID card holder, hand sanitizer, wet wipes (grandkids you know), Kleenex, eye glass wipes, phone, pen and small pad of paper, comb, chapstick, dental floss, small container with bandaids, lactaid tablets, pepto, Tylenol, and sometimes DH wallet jammed in there too!
Although, my travel purse is only big enough for bare essentials.
In the car: emergency personnel type knife (which will cut boots, clothes, seat belts and break windows), portable charger/car battery charger, 3 day emergency supplies, including food and water with emergency candles and water proof matches, wool blanket, tire chains, small bag of protein bars, and sometime a potty bucket with kitty litter if we travel, just in case.

I am a nurse, I go prepared!

I believe Felix's bag was called a "Bag of Tricks." (The theme song included that term, didn't it?) During my career, I and some other coworkers who were familiar with that old cartoon (or, perhaps, even if they weren't) referred to my library of computer programs as a "bag of tricks" I would use to create a program to fulfill a special data request.

My small wallet holds a couple of credit cards and my driver's license. I usually don't carry a phone.

2-6 cough drops and cellphone in left front pocket, leather bi-fold wallet in left rear pocket, hankerchief in right rear pocket and a wad of singles, 5s and 10s in order and folded in half and car keys in right front pocket.

What's in your wallet? $40-$160 in 20s and 50s, driver's license, community association ID, AAA card, Medicare card, Medigap card, Part D card, voter ID, a rarely used debit card and 4 credit cards (2% rebate credit card used for most purchases, Sam's Club for gas (5% rebate) and 2 backup credit cards).

Lol, I too thought you were referring to lethal weaponry. I just make sure I've got wallet, keys, and sunglasses (or prescription eyeglasses if I'm wearing the sunglasses).

Other than a wallet, cell phone, and keys I used to carry a small flat Gerber pocket knife but stopped years ago when I was flying on vacations. I didn't want it confiscated and then I got out of the habit.

As little as possible. A car key, single, to match the car O' day. Don't lock the house much, have keys stashed or electronic access if it is locked. Wallet w/ cards and cash. If wearing the right pair of Carhartt pants with the right size watch pocket a little two blade Camillus pen knife is real handy. holdable and a sharp 2" blade does what a knife should. iPhone 7 is grudgingly packed in the side leg pocket of the Carhartts.
Glasses and hearing aids are worn; tooth implants and heart AICD are pretty much attached.
Car carries the load for all the stuff a doing-his-best-to-be-retired landlord needs.
Have a CHL, but use my engaging grin instead. Lighter.

Moved to a slim wallet and keep only necessary items in it. Main difference in going with a slim wallet is that I keep it in my front pocket now.

Keep some cash in there too but it’s a “bit” more. I live near a casino and every now and then a friend and I will go on the spur of the moment. Gotta have some hundo’s for that.

Also keep my case in order and folded in half, and, the faces all need to be pointing in the same direction. That part of the cash is in the main part of the wallet and is mainly for tips at restaurants. The casino dollars are stashed in one of the credit card slots.

In addition to the typical keys and phone I carry:
1. Antique bottle opener from Fremont Brewing Company shaped like a bird.
2. Multi purpose tool from www.geekey.com with protractor, screwdriver, bike spoke tensioner, serrated edge, various nut sizes, ruler and small smoking bowl (unused).

Here at the cabin I always have my trusty Gerber LST. It's small, slim, lightweight and a great little knife made in USA. I've carried one like it for over 40 years. Being left handed there's no possibility of it closing on me while using it like some others.

I'm in the "as little as possible" club too. I hate the feeling of stuff in my pockets. small wallet type thing that holds credit card, dl, ins cards, and some folding cash, a key fob and my phone. all of it gets dumped into the console once I get into the car.

In NJ, we just recently got the ability to have a CCW. I will get my license out of respect for the people who worked so hard to get the law changed, but with no intention to carry.

My wallet with 2 credit cards and around $200 in cash and ID, etc. Car keys. Ruger 380 LCP. I carry those all the time I'm awake and out of bed.

In 2006 we had a wildland fire. I was dozing on the couch, woke up to what seemed like the whole world in flames. All I had on was some shorts. No shoes, wallet, or even my glasses. We just barely made it out alive. My wife has her purse on a hook at the door now too. I also stash cash and ID's underground that could survive a fire. I was unable to get access to any of my funds without ID and could not get ID replaced without a birth certificate and could not get a birth certificate with no computer, phone, etc.
Fortunately, Red Cross gave me a $400 debit card so I could buy clothes. Unfortunately, Walmart kicked me out because I was only wearing shorts, nothing else. A fireman gave me a t-shirt and some stranger gave me sandals, so I could go back into the store and buy some clothes. Ha!

My everyday carry is phone, wallet, and keys. But thanks to smart locks, a Bluetooth key fob, and Google Wallet, I rarely take my wallet or keys out of my pocket now. However, generally I still need my wallet for my driver's license. I do also keep these tools hidden: the credit card sized multitool in my wallet, a key sized multitool on my keychain, and a Tile in my wallet and on my keys, because they both would be much more expensive to replace than the Tiles!
Does anyone recognize the branding on the top multitool? I was sad to see them go.
