What did you trade today and why?

-NZF sold a portion (break even less distributions) for this week's plumbing job...need 12k from emergency fund.

I can't believe I just day traded a cereal stock. GIS dipped this morning to $33.65 where I purchased 2000 shares and grabbed a cup of coffee, then just sold them for $34.15. What is the world coming to?
To deter me from such temptations, I only own equities in a taxable account.

lightened on AMD pre-earnings. After the huge run up my guess is they sell off.
My crystal ball is out of order. I expected INTC to drop after such a huge runup to earnings and they rallied significantly after. AMD could do the same.

sure. if it rallies I will sell the rest. Pretty sure I will get a chance to re-buy.

I have made 5X my money on it. It has certainly met my objectives.

Not messing with my stocks for a bit. Still in SEMIS. SMH,AVGO,MU,MRVL.

Did keep going my TQQQ wheel ratchet (sell a CSP and sell a CC each week If my strike gets hit I buy another 100 shares at that exact time) . Sold a CSP on Monday bought it back today (1 day open) at 80% profit on the premium then sold another CSP . Also been selling weekly QQQ Put credit spreads. Closed 2 of those today at 50% profit on each. They are about 300 to 500 a week on those. I put (4) contracts on every Friday while we are above the 200ema. Also plan on starting my triple calendar debit spreads on SPX this Friday. I would say options are my favorite thing to do in the market. Also went live with my traveling scanner. Options and scanners are more like a hobby to me than investing. I shelved my bots. They have no idea when bombs start flying or we get random tweets that need attention.

O ya started on my Quantom explorations. Picked up QMCO and IPX. Quantom computing stocks are right behind semis for the most gains in the last month.

MU is going crazy lately.

AMD rallying AH. Glad I only sold some.
My sister told me over a month ago that I should sell my AMD and enjoy life.
I explained to her that I would lose money but she does not understand. BTW she is always broke.
In just 5 and 1/2 weeks the stock has doubled!
It went from $195 to $412 (after hours) in just 5 and 1/2 weeks. $217 a share.

Futures up nicely. 10 year yield dropping. For now at least, it looks like everyone wins today.
I think I might sell the 20 year I bought 2 days ago at 5.032%. Looks like it is trading for 4.92% this morning, so it should be up about $1000. I love this bouncy castle market.

I’ve traded it in the past. 5% is a magic level.

I will be replacing part of my QQQs for FSPTX in my Roth today. Great long term track record!

I sold just a few shares of QQQ in my tIRA to get cash in there to cover QCDs I'll be doing...

What is going on with GIS? I saw an earlier post where someone made a day trade on GIS. I looked at it earlier in the year and was surprised to see a stock I would expect to be a plow horse of a stock that would go along and throw off a nice dividend. I didn’t buy, but i wondering if anyone has any insight to what’s happening here. Is it getting ready to crash or to quit paying a dividend?

I bought a small position in FSPTX when I moved my accounts to Fidelity in 2018. I wasn't as savvy as I am now and I bought it in a taxable account.

I also own FBGRX (in taxable and IRA) and FSELX (in IRA). FSPTX shares a lot of the holdings in these other Fidelity funds. I feel like I'm duplicating my efforts so I looked to sell my "small holding" in FSPTX. Well, it's grown so much that I hesitate to sell because of capital gains tax reasons. Poor, poor pitiful me--I'm stuck with a 30% average annual gainer.
