Bought some PHK. PDI bigger div for same amout invested but PHK seems to have more stable price lately.

Some additions TQQQ already up over 20% this year. Has several years in which up over 100%, maybe this will be one.

ADX-nice divy, mirrors S&P kind of

FBALX-mod allocation fund.

Took profits today from MU SMH and AVGO MRVL and purchased OVL with it. Also bought back my TQQQ put for and sold a new one. All profits are going into OVL while the market is happy

Bought $25,000 worth of Cameco, CCJ.

A uranium mining company that also converts the ore for fuel in nuclear reactors. They've been at it for decades. A while back they bought 49% of the old Westinghouse Electric Company.

These new data centers are going to need renewable energy and I'm thinking nuclear.

I mean I sort of agree but you could build 10 memory fabs quicker than you could build one nuke plant and they don't seem to be building memory fabs to take share away from MU.

have owned for quite a while and it has been marvelous. Good luck to us both!

nuke, nat gas, fuel cell

- FDUS sold on a big updraft...buy back if it drops
+ MO continue adding to my recent sold position...should be all-in around 67.xx

It's 5 years or so to build a semiconductor fab facility. There's worldwide demand for uranium ore right now. Uranium does not need to be put into new nuke plants, it can be used in recommissioned nuclear reactors. Also there are small modular nuclear reactors coming soon.

Look up the three year, five year, and 10 year returns for Cameco.

Well MU is still going nuts. My hiking buddy is at it again. He bought 10,000 shares of the double MU ETF (MUU) on April 6th. Right now, it is at $491. He paid $151. That's a $3,400,000 gain in one month and 2 days. Maybe I should have followed him. :

End of day edit. It closed at $543. Make that a $3,920,000 gain (in just 24 trading days) instead. $1,280,000 gain today alone. WTF. Over 2.8 million in just the last 6 trading days. I texted him today to see if he sold any. "Not yet, I'm a big pig" 🙄 Whoops. Up another $14 after hours. Make that a 1.42 million dollar gain today. $4,060,000 gain since April 6th.

*shaking head*

I just don't understand people like that. He's won. Take the win and go home.

I know. I've told him several times to sell 1/2, still be way ahead if he wants to let the rest ride.

I own Micron. Micron has orders in the pipeline for the next 2 years. They have solid future earnings for at least 2 years.

There are 3 other companies that make the same type of memory chips -- San Disk, Samsung, and SK Hynix and Samsung fab workers are on strike.

The "game" you speak of is barely beginning. If it were a baseball game we're in the 3rd inning. Why would someone get up and leave the game so early?

Now, I can understand taking some profits but leave a lot of the money active.

Yes, I follow MU very closely and have been in and out successfully on option trades several times myself. I do believe MU is going to keep doing fantastically. They have committed orders thru 2028 and I think have already sold out of 2026 in one or more of their product lines. Their forward P/E is low as well. I get all that, I just believe when you do 3.5x your investment in a months' time, that you should take some money off to protect some gains. If he sold a third of what he has, he would already pocket a $300,000 gain while also receiving his initial investment back, guaranteeing a profit and no loss possible. Then let the other 2/3rds ride for a while and still possibly have further huge gains.
I know that is just me and because of my mentality, I would probably not make as huge of gains as he is but I'd still be pretty darn happy and sleep well.

I have bought and sold Microsoft shares several times in the past ~6 weeks and made some really nice returns. Currently holding ~325 shares. I'm trying to decide if I should buy more this week (up to 175 more shares) or just hold at this point.

Opinions?

I put an indication of interest in for the Cerberus IPO. They make a big AI chip. It is 20x over subscribed so I probably won't be allocated any, but I wanted to practice before the SpaceX IPO.

It has been over 25 years since I asked for IPO shares. Reinforces my feeling that we are in the Dot Com 2.0 Bubble.

I bought some a few weeks back and held it. I am not a buy and sell type of person. I also am not a soothsayer. I think crap will drop tomorrow on the war news. What to do is up to you.

Micron (MU) seems like a 1999 stock. Up $100 Friday and up $40 pre-market today. I just sold 7% of my position. Of course, I always bail out of my winners too early.

I was considering trying to find the top of the Sandisk rally at $1400 to buy puts but it is near $1600 now. I think this is like War Games and the only way to not lose is to not play.
