Binged the first 6 epis of Day of The Jackal (Peacock). So far it holds our attention. Eddie Redmayne is excellent.
Sweetpea is very good, hope they have a season 2.I've been watching a UK series called "Sweetpea" about a milquetoast girl that is pushed too far and becomes a serial killer. Very much a grim dark comedy but I like it based mainly on the talents of the main actress.
It stars Ella Purnell, who most people would probably know as one of the two main characters from the recent Fallout series.
The promos got my attention and I’ve been looking forward to it. Isn’t it another Taylor Sheridan show? I just checked and my cable doesn’t have episode 1 available so Im gonna start with E2. So hard to find all these networks.Landman, on Paramount +. New series with Billy Bob Thorton as a field boss for a huge Texas oil company. Although this is a dark drama, he is a riot with his comments to everyone he interacts with including his daughter, ex-wife, his bosses and local law enforcement. This is one of the most compelling new series I’ve watched and I can’t wait for next weeks episode to drop (they only released the first 2 for this weeks premiere).
Check it out and let me know what you think.
We saw that pop up yesterday and put it on our watch list.Mid-way through "A man on the Inside." It's on Netflix and if you are a Ted Danson fan (which I am), you will enjoy. Light comedy, goofy stuff, its great to use for unwinding prior to bedtime.
Netflix has brought a huge number of foreign shows to the US markets and there have been so many great ones!We saw that pop up yesterday and put it on our watch list.
Right now we’re watching Murder Mindfully on Netflix. 8 episodes. We’ve seen 5 and are enjoying it. It’s a German series that is dubbed just so you know. That’s one thing I like about streaming. We’ve found many foreign shows that we never would have seen on traditional TV.
Yeah just finished it. Great Ted Danson stuff. You will like the ending.Mid-way through "A man on the Inside." It's on Netflix and if you are a Ted Danson fan (which I am), you will enjoy. Light comedy, goofy stuff, its great to use for unwinding prior to bedtime.
I heartily agree! We've watched the first two episodes and are saving #3 for later. Don't want to use it up too quickly.Acorn TV: Inspector Ellis
Other than Dallas maybe? But the Yellowstone shooter didn't miss.Getting caught up on Yellowstone which is in season 5 so not new at all. I don’t ever recall a tv series with so many specific show inspired ads not to mention all the prequels and spinoffs.
Billy Bob Thorton at his very best, great series so far.Landman on Paramount+
Look forward each week to each new episode
Great touching comedy. I hope that there is a season 2.Mid-way through "A man on the Inside." It's on Netflix and if you are a Ted Danson fan (which I am), you will enjoy. Light comedy, goofy stuff, its great to use for unwinding prior to bedtime.
I had to watch this series intermittently. Felt agoraphobic. But a good series overall.I'm a little late too, almost at the end of Season 1 of Silo on Apple+. I like it a lot. Reminds me of the TV show Lost just a tiny bit.
