What new series are you watching? *No Spoilers, Please*

We really enjoyed season one of Ginny and Georgia. Season two is a bit of a slog. It's still worth a watch.
Oops. I didn't realize we were on season 3. This should say we really enjoyed seasons 1+2 but season 3 is a little harder to get through.

I'm struggling thru the new season of "and just like that" - the continuation of sex and the city. But if it wasn't for the nostalgia of the original I would absolutely not be bothering. It's cute, but it's very silly.

Yeah pretty much panned after a couple of episodes. Couldn’t take it.

Finished watching Dept Q, thanks for the tip on that. I think it was a good series. I did turn on captioning, helps my hearing with the accents.
Department Q-Keeper of Lost Causes is on Amazon as well. It's the same basic plot but follows the original novel by Jussi Adler-Olsen. I enjoyed the Netflix version more. The characters more colorful although the storyline was altered.

My Prime account show this is AMC and requires a separate fee.

I find Amazon very confusing in this way, it doesn’t distinguish clearly between its own content, free content, and subscription content from other providers.

Exactly. So much of it I can’t stand, but when nothing much is on, I’ll watch. The original was so much better.

I just loved SATC back in the day. The movies were ok- not great but ok.
I couldn’t even get through the first season of “and just like that”
I was thinking about starting it again because I saw that Aiden was back but I guess it’s not worth. Although I do love Aiden. 😍

S2 was better than S1. S3... they have fixed most of the worst of S1/2 but it just feels so superficial.

I'm watching a Netflix series call BET. It's about a Prep school where everything is determined by gambling and the amount of one's balance. 10 episodes - I've watched the 1st 8. I've stuck with it but can't really recommend it.

This statement reminds me of my viewing of Dr. Who for the past 6 years or so. I've been watching the show for 40 years so momentum kept me going. They've absolutely trashed the show in the past several years, culminating in a ghastly fanboy surprise twist with the persona of the latest Doctor's "regeneration."

We added AMC to our Prime account. AMC has so many good series and movies, thought it was worth it.

Just finished "Secrets We Keep". A Danish Netflix series, a mystery thriller centered around the disappearance of an au pair in a wealthy Copenhagen suburb. The series follows Cecilie, a woman determined to uncover the truth behind the missing au pair, even as it threatens to expose secrets among her close-knit community. The show explores themes of guilt, class differences, and the hidden truths within seemingly perfect lives.

Kept us interested guessing who did it. Much better than I thought it would be.

Yeah, typical Amazon! We haven’t watched their video content in a long time.

If you haven’t already seen it, Scandal is now on Netflix. We watched it when it originally aired but I just may watch it again. Excellent show.

Liked it a lot, but did not guess correctly who did it.

On the flip side, we are were watching Waterfront on Netflix. Getting pretty good reviews. As DW and I say to high quality shows that we just can't watch, "It's not for us".
Don't like the people and can't identify with the people since they are criminals, liars and generally unlikable. It's a "Yellowstone/Dallas" type soap opera which we never got into. If that's your vibe though...

Just to mention what others already have - if you like Dept Q then Slow Horses really needs your attention. Gary Oldman as the lead rocking greasy straggly hair, slovenly clothes, an absolute lack of social graces, nightmare boss in the positive reinforcement area... Sounds bad, but it is great
