What new series are you watching? *No Spoilers, Please*

We had tried the Scottish police procedural "Karen Pirie" a couple of years ago and didn't get into it, thinking it was too "Gen Z." BUT, we gave it another go (on BritBox) recently and really liked it. Yes, the titular character is young, but very smart and willing to break the rules to get justice. Just my kind of hero. After two series, we're waiting for more but nothing's been announced yet regarding series 3, as far as I can tell from The Google.

Anyone watching "Deadwater Fell"? I watched one episode last night. Started the 2nd one right now. I'm a little confused with the story.?

I just finished His & Hers on Netflix. It was excellent and I recommend it. It's been a long time since a show surprised me, but this one did.

Watched the first 2 episodes of "Sheriff Country" on Paramount+. Nice tie-in to "Fire Country."
Might try "The Madison" tonight, another Taylor Sheridan show.

I'm liking Sheriff Country. It's the only current series I'm watching that is currently in season. I never watched Fire Country, though.

Fire Country is pretty good. It stars Max Thieriot, he was Clay in Seal Team.

Started watching The Woman in Cabin 10 a movie on Netflix. A murder mystery set on a super luxury yacht. Good so far.

I was just looking at the TV schedule earlier, and by coincidence, I see the pilot is on later. So I decided to record it. I don't really want to get into it, though. I have some other series I would already like to see.

Watched the first 2 episodes of The Madison last night. Wow! Not at all what I expected from a Taylor Sheridan show. Very good. That's all, no spoilers, you gotta watch it yourself :)

Steal started out so great, riveting, suspensful. Then like most streaming shows it got slower and slower. Had to grind through episodes 4-5.

Or maybe I'm easily bored.

I’m watching Landman S2. I liked S1 better snd am wondering if it is turning into a soap opera.

Somehow we forgot that we were watching Fallout. We are finishing up the last few episodes now.

I wish someone would invent an easy, foolproof way to keep track of all the streaming and TV shows we're watching. My "smart" TV could be a lot smarter. Why doesn't it let me click a button and "add show to list" so I can pull up a list of all the shows we're currently juggling?

My media player keeps track for me as I dl the whole series when it is complete. Then I delete each episode after we watch them. If we do not complete an episode it also keeps track of the place we left off.

Currently watching "Starfleet Academy" a little teen angst but entertaining nevertheless. Also finished season 2 of "Karen Pirie" as always UK police procedurals rarely disappoint.

You can on Netflix, see below. Not sure about other services. I just keep track in an excel spreadsheet.

To see your Netflix watch history, log in to your account via a web browser, select your profile, go to the Account page, and click on Viewing Activity under the "Profile & Parental Controls" section. You can also click "Download all" at the bottom to export your full history as a CSV file.

Each app (stream source) on our AppleTV unit lets each of us select shows for our lists as well as has continue watching for recent series watched.

I’ve watched the first 2 episodes of Madison and it looks like a series I will stick with. I enjoy the outdoor scenery if nothing else.

Netflix used to show you if you had rated a program so you knew if you had watched it.

OK, you guys inspired me to watch Landman and The Madison. Fortunately Paramount+ has a special right now for $2.99 each the first two months and this includes the ad-free premium level.

I couldn't make it through S1, once his ex and daughter became more involved it turned into the dumb blonde drama. Are you saying S2 is even worse?

Saw the new season 2 alert for 'The Night Manager'. Hadn't seen season 1 so started watching it, British spy thriller, not bad. Didn't notice until watching S1E6 that it came out in 2016. Yikes, ten years is sure a long time between seasons.

I enjoyed S1 and wouldn’t describe it in those terms. I’m half way through S2 and paused it, not because of any specific role or portrayal, but it’s just getting off the tight plot line.

I was very impressed with episode 1 of Landman.

We’ve driven across the Permian Basin many times, US 285 from Fort Stockton into New Mexico, or TX 17 Pecos to I-10. Long and straight roads. It has its own desert beauty, flat and thick with creosote bush and some sotol, agaves and cactus. Really nice in early and late day light. Chihuahuan Desert.
