In my view, Woodstock is just the coolest cartoon character ever
. Reminds me of myself

That is a picture of John Belushi right? So were you a U.S. Senator? My first avatar here (which I use in several other forums) was already taken... I mean, someone here had the *exact* same picture! We talked and laughed about it, and I said I would pick a different one. My next (and current) avatar choice has always been an inspiration to me... someone who went from rock bottom ("seven years of college down the drain") to U.S. Senator![]()
Yes, IIRC Senator Blutarski in the movie Animal House. That is a picture of John Belushi right? So were you a U.S. Senator?
You're all more creative than I am. I can certainly see how people have fun with them. I just don't know what I'd pick or where I'd get it from. I waste enough time on this thing already trying to follow the Social Security threads!Avatars are fun.

I had really wondered about your Keanu Reeves avatar.I don't remember why I picked this.
Nice!Mine was the view from the front porch of our rented little beachside Casita in Belize.
Ah yea, we know that spot! Excellent. It's a picture taken after a challenging hike we did in the Blue Ridge mountains near Roanoke, VA. We made it to this glorious rock overlooking the valley. I very, very carefully inched towards the edge so I could get this picture. I'm not a big risk taker, but I do have my moments and this was one of them!
It was taken very close to the time I joined this forum and was just a FIRE dreamer. I recall sitting there and pondering our future. This picture reminds me of how far we have come over the years, and all that we have accomplished. Thanks for making me think about it!
