Whisky, whiskey, or other?

Here is my collection of single malt Scotch

A bourbon expert, I am not! I’m more of a novice, but I did enjoy sipping on Thomas S. Moore Cabernet Sauvignon Cask Finish Bourbon. I thought it was delicious! Has anyone tried it? What’s your opinion?

Balvenie Double Wood 12 years old

Actually, pretty much any whiskey that spent part of its life in a sherry cask.
I’m also a fan of Balvenie Double Wood 12 yo Scotch. For bourbon, I like Woodford Reserve. Can’t go wrong with either!

Nice smoky Scotch, especially Lagavulin for a treat. Glenlivet Founders reserve every week or two. Otherwise it's usually red wine

Some very fancy home bars here. I have a shelf in a kitchen cupboard, and anything that doesn't fit goes in my closet. This way I also get to admire some of my bottles every time I get dressed.

So in case you were wondering, this article suggest that whisk(e)y is UTRA-PROCESSED FOOOOD (echo, echo, echo, echo) and therefore bad for you!

It’s difficult to say whether alcoholic drinks count as UPFs, Monteiro and colleagues wrote in 2019. But they provide some general guidance: fermented drinks like beer, cider and wine are considered “processed” and “ultra-processed” if they are fermented and then the resulting alcohol is distilled – like whiskey, gin, rum and vodka.
