You go Bill.

Dunno, swapping spit and other things with someone the age of a GD is 🤢 to me. And at that age or mine, prenup or not, it's cheaper to rent than own.:flowers:
I was thinking along the same line....would you want your child dating someone old enough to be your father:confused:?
Ewwwww....he probably has underwear older than her...

I am in the big EWWWW camp also...

If DD dated someone older than me she does not have to come home... I am a big NO...

A lot of that in FL... rich guys and significantly younger women. Clearly transactional but works for some. I met one couple and she wrote a pretty smart FB post about how he treats her like a princess and makes her feel loved. -Definitely a materialistic dynamic but still her focus was mostly on how he treated her and went way out of his way to make a challenging to prepare meal for her.... not materialistic at all. It changed my perspective a bit seeing it from the females perspective instead of from some guy looking in. It was not defensive in tone but was pretty obvious someone said something that cut and that she was responding. That said, not my thing. Lots of eye candy in my neighborhood -catch your eye for sure but not "attractive" to me. Late 30's seem to be about where my interest is piqued with mid-40's most attractive if age is the only factor... it is not and I've dated from -10 to +16.

Maybe it's nothing more than GG Daddy issues she's trying to work through. With that said, let's hope Bill is a little more emotive in the sack than he was on the sidelines.

That is why you go into a prevent defense or at least a zone as opposed to man-man or cover two!

How "real" this relationship is will be revealed when BB starts failing not too far down the road while she's still in her prime.

I can't figure out if he's "robbing the cradle" or if she's "climbing the ladder."

Like having sex on an elevator, this relationship is wrong on so many levels...

Gonna go out on a limb here and guess that:

- most of those cheering him on don't have daughters or granddaughters, or if they do, would not feel so enthusiastic if theirs were the GF

- most women opening this post are going "ugh" and hitting the back button

From my standpoint, at 55 no way would anyone 72 be dateable, my dad is 79, so, ew. 51 years difference is just crazy.
If she were 43 it would still be 30 years, but at least she'd have a bit more agency and life experience to make that decision.

I doubt those replies are very serious at all - it's more like 'locker-room' bravado talk.

Women are generally considered "in their prime" (looks-wise) in their 20's-30's. And generally, I think many women find a slightly older man more 'distinguished' looking?

It's easy to look from afar, and say "good for him", or some such. because fantasy-wise, sure, most older guys would want that. But if we saw it in a friend we know, so that it was more real to us, I think those same posters would be more like "What the hell is going on here?"

While I do find this almost 50 year difference a bit creepy, I have two buddies who, on their 2nd/3rd marriage have a 30 year age gap. I think most of us know someone who was 60 and married a 28 year old.

72/23? Hey nineteen, no we can't dance together, no we can't talk at all.
