You go Bill.

Maybe it's nothing more than GG Daddy issues she's trying to work through. With that said, let's hope Bill is a little more emotive in the sack than he was on the sidelines.
Also unlike the sidelines, let's hope he doesn't cheat :)

And yeah, quite creepy IMO but it's their business, not mine. Heck it seems Hollywood types do it all the time, but then again, it's Hollywood...

While I do find this almost 50 year difference a bit creepy, I have two buddies who, on their 2nd/3rd marriage have a 30 year age gap. I think most of us know someone who was 60 and married a 28 year old.

72/23? Hey nineteen, no we can't dance together, no we can't talk at all.
It may be a function of my circle and our particular circumstances, but the biggest age difference I've seen is ~5 years on 2nd marriages, and the decades-long 1st ones are within just a few.

I admit to being judgmental - I've intentionally never gotten close to guys and couples with those kind of big age differences, even if we're in the same larger circle. It has never sat well with me.

Great Becker/Fagen reference, BTW :)

Happily, no.

Calling "Everybody Loves Raymond" fans, does this remind anyone of the episode where Robert thought he was dating a girl in her 20s and turned out to be 19 lol

It is interesting that I have a 10 year difference between me and DW.... but she had a friend who did have a 30 year gap... had been married 15 or 20 years... and SHE passed before he did!!!

This reminds me of an article a while back about a survey of Tinder users asking about their ideal life partners. Apparently the men overwhelmingly thought their ideal life partners would be about 21 years old, LOL. Regardless of the male survey respondents' ages. "Life partner" = shut up and let's have sex ;-)

About 9 years ago, I was on a dating app for rich men/younger women. I received hundreds of messages (meaning THEY messaged ME). I whittled the list down via messaging and ended up meeting 38 women from that website. I'd say 2 were unpleasant, and the other 36 were all decent nice women. One I was in a relationship with for a year. I was 53 she was 23. Another was 19, I was 54 then. Another lasted 6 months, the rest under a month. Many I met once and never got together a second time.

The point is since before all of us on this forum were born, women have been flocking to wealthy men. Sometimes wealthy older men. No not every woman does, but the hundreds that messaged me certainly did.

If you're disgruntled that Bill has a young pretty woman, that's your choice, but there are scores of ladies who are willing to replace her and be Bill's new woman.

This reminds me of an article I read a few days ago about 84 year old Al Pacino and his 29 year old girlfriend (eww), who recently welcomed his now 1 year old son (eeek).

Getting married like that is one thing, but how grossly irresponsible to have kids IMO. "Yes dear that's your dad who died before you were old enough to remember him even a little...no he didn't get sick or have an injury, he was just as old as someone who would normally be your grandfather....." Single parenthood by design, wow thanks dad!

If they have a child he can get 50% of his FRA Social Security benefit as an additional dependent child benefit payment.

One of those friends once said to me: " It didn't look like I was going to have any grandkids, so I made my own!"

Still, him being 73 with 2 kids under 8 has to be a chore. I like my quiet house where I can fall asleep in my chair at 2pm.

Don't think anyone is disgruntled, just looking at the reality of it being a very shallow relationship. The old wealthy guy wants a trophy and the young attractive women will only give the old guy the time of day because he has money.

From Celebrity Net Worth. Says it all IMO!

What is Bill Belichick's Net Worth

Bill Belichick is an American football head coach who has a net worth of $70 million

Is this one of those, he told her he was 92yrs old situations?

Yes... the important line in this is WEALTHY men... young women are not flocking to old broke men...

The women are selling their bodies to be taken care of... and wealthy men are willing to do that... and so are the women (I am not giving a pass on them)...

For some women it is transactional... I have seen on TV where some do it to get through college.. one on the show got her law degree...

Just because it is two 'willing' participants does not make it less creepy.... however, I am in the they can do what they want camp as it does not affect me...

Actually, great-grandfather, and possibly great-great grandfather.

IMO, it not about the money per se.

It's about the "access": getting the best table for 10 in the best restaurants, suite tickets to football, basketball, baseball, SuperBowl, having your friends dropping into Nantucket by helicopter instead of that dreadful ferry with all those people. Meeting some of the most famous people in the world over cocktails. Just picking up the phone and have everyone saying " Yes, ma'am, we can do that"

It can be quite intoxicating. It's why these women stay with these guys even after some sort of scandal surfaces. In a normal situation, the wife would say "I'm outta here", but they stay with him. Seen it firsthand.

+1000

Pacino, at age 84, is old enough to be that infant's great-grandfather. How incredibly callous and selfish to bring a child into the world knowing that he will be forever robbed of any semblance of his father's love, companionship, and guidance.

Hell of a price for her to pay. But then again, I sold most of the best years of my life to a couple of Mega Corps for ~40 years. Sooooo.

Anyway, I wonder where you find these women? EDIT: I was going to make a joke about Sugar Daddies but I just checked and sure enough there is such a website. Sugar Daddy Dating App & Website | SugarDaddy.com

These kinds of stories were a bit thin. I'm so tired of seeing these young attractive fit ladies so taking advantage of these established, charming, intelligent well to do older men.

Many have had to deal with this, it's everywhere.

Where is the outrage?

Everywhere. Finding the women would be the easy part. Becoming wealthy and famous is the tough part. Yeah, it's mostly about the money $$$$ and everything it can buy.

Sorry that you posted this because it has made us see you in a different light even though we don't know you.

I (female) have had a very successful work career and perhaps it makes me more judgmental of such arrangement.

This is a good point. Many of the "benefits" that I mentioned above were things that I had access to (including helicopters, an apartment in Paris, weekend skiing in the Alps, expensive restaurants etc) thanks to my company picking up the tab.

My joke was always " I dont know...someone paid for it...it wasn't me". It was the reason I was attracted to the job and stayed there for 34 years....sort of the same thing.

Most of us have traded our time/youth for some sort of compensation.

So SeekingArrangement was not a long term success for you? :p
