If the Ducks loose Carrington will be a pariah.

A number of pundits think Oregon will lose for another reason:

Never realized Meyer modeled OSU offense after Chip Kelly's Ducks. With OSU's size and speed and the receiving deficit at Oregon, it should make for a Buckeye victory.
Ohio State's offense looks a lot like Oregon's, by design

Not loving the Ducks uniforms. Good for sales I guess. Ducks rolling early. Hoping for a good game.

I'm a lifelong OSU fan. I'm also a bit negative on the Ducks because they always beat my Huskies in recent years. So go Buckeyes!

Nothing says we belong more than a drive the length of the field. Impressive Buckeyes!

+1 Great story. Winning a national championship with a QB playing his third college game. What the heck! Great team effort on both sides of the ball against a quality opponent.

And OSU overcoming 4 turnovers. Elliott was unbelievable, OSU D handled Mariota, and C Jones stepped up (has any other team ever had that kind of depth?). Congrats Buckeye fans, you earned bragging rights for the year. Urban Meyer wow.

I guess you can call him being handled since they won.... but he had over 300 yards passing with some easy catches that were dropped....

Still, I think OSU would have won since it appeared that the only way they were stopped was a turnover.... (I am sure there were a few punts by OSU, but not many)....

Oregon went 2 for 12 on 3rd down conversions and 1 for 4 scoring from within the red zone IIRC what was reported on ESPN?

Not arguing the point that Oregon lost... Just saying that if the Oregon receivers would have caught the balls they should have it would have been closer... remember the guy who was wide open for a TD and dropped the ball...

Just looked it up... Mariota's passer rating was 152.9... total of 333 yards... and if his receivers had caught those easy passes he would have been over 400 yards... I do not call that being handled... sure, they were outscored big time.... but handled

Now, Elliot rushed for 246 yards and 4 TDs.... they could not stop him... I think without him (or someone like him) the outcome could have been different....
