Internet sales for new car

I am helping out my sister in buying a new car. I want to send a request to a bunch of dealers around us, but I cannot find any place that lists their internet sales dept.

Does anybody know where this info can be found easily?

Just go to their website and send an email from their 'Contact Us" link. Many have a chat link too.

on the hyundaiusa.com site there is a request quote link at the bottom.
You can select a dealer at that time. Didn't see a way to request quotes from multiple dealers at one time so you didn't have to fill out personal info umpteen times but maybe you can figure out a way to make it easier for yourself.

Assuming internet request goes to internet dept but who knows.

IME you can often beat the best internet deals, but an internet quote is a good place to start. Or if you just don't want to haggle at all, internet pricing is most likely better than you'll get just walking into a dealership cold. Good luck.

Yea, I saw that post and am doing some of what they say...

I want to get a few firm quotes from different locations so I can see what I can get...

It is not worth it to me to haggle to save a few bucks.... and who knows for sure what they make...

Well, had to do it one at a time... luckily most were just clicking the input field and the answer would pop up.. had the spiel where I could copy and paste....


Sent to 36 dealers with 3 local ones to go tomorrow... many responded, but most did not read my spiel saying I was wanting an out the door price and we knew exactly what we wanted... they would say 'when can you come in to test drive' or 'I am here to work with you, just give me a call'....

Prices have ranged from $46,456 (estimate as they did not give drive out) to $51,273... got two firm offers at $46500, one close and one a distance...

Will call the closest one tomorrow and see if we can button this up...

Just as an FYI, looking at KBB the fair purchase price has a $2000 range... the lowest would be $46100... so we are at the low end of estimate... so all is good...


Edit to add... WOW... looked at Edmunds to see what they would say for a good price... drive out would be about $48375... believe it or not, at least half the prices I got were higher than this....

I got a deal by contacting USAA car buying service, are you a member? If you are they do the legwork, I have a post about this from months ago, if you are, Ill look for my rant on the issue.

We did do some car buying service, cannot remember which one but I think it was Penfed.... I am getting better prices doing what I am doing than the service... Penfed was run by one of the big services with Penfed's logo...

Sounds like you did well getting a good price, congrats. I'm happy to haggle and play the game with dealers, but getting that absolute last dollar isn't worth the effort even to me - and its impossible to know absolutely anyway.

Be sure to look at any incentives that you can get. I joined the American Quarter Horse Association to get an extra $500 off my new truck.

The AQHA costs $45 to join, and was a stack-able rebate. It was good on Ford products.

Actually did not provide the link, but is is 100% based on his strategy...


It might not be the best, but it is good enough for me and my sister... and in the end we will be getting a car for maybe $2,000 cheaper... not sure as we never did get a price from the dealer who is closest so we could compare... I am working on that now... if he is high I will make him match..


Funny thing is that one of the local dealers with the second cheapest prices is planning to sell us the car my sister test drove at her dealership!!! Said he could transfer it and sell it cheap... we are willing to go that route to save money...

Car lists for $47785.... we get $1500 in credits, loyalty and military...

Total drive out is $46400... so an additional $3,000 off list..

This is just a couple of hundred over the lowest price listed on the web... sister is happy...

Doing this exercise saved at minimum $900 from the price they gave me as drive out without telling them I had two low offers at the same price... they beat it by $100...

I like it, sounds like a happy ending to a nice car buying story. If you gave me all the details of all the options including color, I could contact USAA buying service see what the lowest I could get it for here on the east coast. I know you wrapped up the deal already but it would be a way to test this service.


Id like to add you bought it at the end of the month and the end of the quarter, I heard these are great times to negotiate for a car.
