You can get a doggie door that responds to a subcutaneous chip in a pet, so I think I'm going to buy one of those and then see what the vet can do for me...

I'm sure spouse will be onboard once she realizes the benefits of real-time GPS reporting from the chip, too.

You dont have to go full in with a chip, when they also offer the same setup with a collar.

I don't even wear a watch or a wedding ring. Not sure I'd be so good at a collar.
