I had four courses in physics, three classical and one modern and not one of the professors was born in the US. Dr. Wong, Dr. Georjevic, Dr. Kumar, and Dr. Hertzel. I think UCLA in the 70s was attempting to assemble a United Nations faculty.
I think it would have benefited me to have taken Mandarin, Croatian, Pakistani and German before taking the physics course.
