Wow. I'm going to miss seeing those guys smoking outside their building in Chicago. They always had a nervous look about them. I remember thinking that there was no way I'd want a job like that.
 
But...think of all the guys banging on their keyboards today :(.
 
That's one thing I remember seeing on CNBC - years ago when I used to watch it! They brought us live footage from the Pits.
 
Trading Places is my all time favorite funny movie. Since I was quite familiar with the commodity biz in the early '80's the movie still cracks me up. I understood every little nuance in the movie. Somehow, the movie would not be the same with a bunch of people pounding on computers.
