Missed opportunities

Wow, 22 houses....DW and I have lived in "only" 10 (39 yrs married), but have owned 2 vac. homes plus "flipped" or kept for rentals about a dozen more. But all the re-habbing wears me out just thinking back......currently seem to be slowing down to one every 3 years or so......
Did OK financially, but would have cleaned up in a coastal market....midwest RE values were just too conservative to make a bundle......

I wish I'd been born a few years later, instead of smack in the middle of the $#@! baby boom. Being part of the pig in the python has been a lifelong challenge. Besides, I'd like to be younger, LOL.

OTOH my Mother was 40 when I was born, so wishing to have been born a few years later might have raised issues. Unless I were willing to be someone else's child.

Now I'm starting to sound like a character in an Al Macy book

Y'all are making me feel better about my own missed opportunities. Thanks E-R Forum! Congrats to Imoldernu and his bride.

Two missed opportunities:
1. Land that I could have purchased for $7.5/sqft in 2007 is now $92/sqft
2. Walked away from a signing table for a house that cost $87 in 2009 is now $230K
