Surprised I even remember this (heh, heh - anyone else get the munchies just listening to this one). I did however pretty much wear that side of the album out so I must have listened a lot!

Anyone else ever note the use of "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" as part of the theme - notable at about 2:35 in the attached part 2?

Killer drum solo as well. I miss the 60's (and now I'm in them again but with a whole different meaning).

This could also be a repeat but it's worth it. Here is Kid Kyle singing with the original Students. The students are famous for singing with the great Frankie Lymon. On a previous post I posted Louie Lymon who was Frankies brother. Kid Kyle is older now but this was cool.

Enjoyed that Purron. My exposure to King Crimson comes from ten years before this.

I've got that album.... I met Doug Ingle in 1984. He sat down, chatted for bit and had a beer before he went on stage. Got his autograph that night. :)

I think he was lucky to meet you!

Edith Piaf - La vie en rose

LA VIE EN ROSE (English translation by Thomas Keyes)

Eyes that gaze into mine,
A smile that is lost on his lips—
That is the unretouched portrait
Of the man to whom I belong.

When he takes me in his arms
And speaks softly to me,
I see life in rosy hues.
He tells me words of love,
Words of every day,
And in them I become something.
He has entered my heart,
A part of happiness
Whereof I understand the reason.
It’s he for me and I for him, throughout life,
He has told me, he has sworn to me, for life.
And from the things that I sense,
Now I can feel within me
My heart that beats.

In endless nights of love,
A great delight that comes about,
The pains and bothers are banished,
Happy, happy to die of love.

When he takes me in his arms
And speaks softly to me,
I see life in rosy hues.
He tells me words of love,
Words of every day,
And in them I become something.
He has entered my heart,
A part of happiness
Whereof I understand the reason.
It’s he for me and I for him, throughout life,
He has told me, he has sworn to me, for life.
And from the things that I sense,
Now I can feel within me
My heart that beats.
