She was a great runner

She was a great runner and classy lady. I was always impressed that she ran the NYC Marathon with Fred Lebow, who was battling cancer, in 1992. She accompanied him the entire race and they crossed the finish line together.

Grete Waitz has been running for more than 40 years, breaking world records, breaking down barriers to women, and promoting fitness throughout the world. For the last two years she has been fighting a new challenge -- cancer. Grete discusses how to make health and fitness a lifestyle, as well as how to hone your running skills. This event took place June 12, 2007 at Google Headquarters in Mountain View, CA.
