The Last Lecture

Thanks , I'm going to watch it . I just read the story about him . What a twist in life !

I saw the last lecture on a television program sometime last year. I didn't catch the recent program. Dr. Pausch is an inspiration. When he talked about his childhood and his parents allowing him to "decorate" the walls of his room by writing on them it made me smile because I also allowed my kids to do the same. I check his home page frequently to see how his health is holding up.

Here is a link to the entire lecture. I didn't see it on the original post.

I watched this program last night. He seems like an exceptional guy with a great family. Pancreatic cancer is a terrible disease.

Did anyone but me catch the subtle marketing spin?
1. It was noted that he had already outlived his projected life span.
2. Prof. Pausch commented that his healthcare was the best available anywhere in the world.
3. The Steelers practice session took place in a field completely surrounded by banners reading "UPMC Medical Center".

Now, I wonder how much sponsorhip the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center provided for this program?
