When you are thinking of who to leave some $$$ for, perhaps you should consider friends for some of it, if you have any friends you feel deserve it.

I recall as a teenager, my parents got a certified letter one day, in it was a check for 50K as part of a will disbursement from a woman my mother knew long ago. They had sent the odd letter and Christmas cards to each other over the past many years.

My parents were barely making it, and that 50K was largely used for needed repairs and what was the first and only flight they ever took for a vacation trip, to go to FL. Us kids did not get to go, as there probably was not enough $$.
