2nd Job

Anybody out there get a 2nd job to help save in the beginning? *To be honest, it sounds awful. *But it seems like I really need for a few years to play it safe. *Someone tell me it's not that bad... :-/

Re: 2nd Job

Some of the jobs I've done in the last year. Drive seniors to and from appointments. Shovel snow! (hand job) Clean some eavestroughs. Cut a few lawns. Pall Bearer duties! ...and yes there is a big demand in this field! Grocery shopping for shut-ins. Around $15C/ free.

Re: 2nd Job

I had three to get myself out of debt 20 years ago. Sucked. Was worth it.

Ironically, of all the jobs I had over the years, working as a dishwasher in a large deli when I was 17 is the one I liked the most.
Be fearful when others are greedy, and greedy when others are fearful. Just another form of "buy low, sell high" for those who have trouble with things. This rule is not universal. Do not buy a 1973 Pinto because everyone else is afraid of it.
