I'm a happy camper - one of my favorite dollar type stores just remodeled and converted to more of a small grocery store format, sans fresh produce and meats/seafood. They do have dairy and a small selection of frozen foods.
I did a walk around the other day and saw almost everything I buy for canned, dry and bottled foods as well as household cleaning, personal care and laundry supplies. I will be able to cover my shopping list with this place and my mom-n-pop grocery for meats and low cost produce.

No more high price grocery chains for me!

Aldi's is my favorite (virtually all is their own brand, no coupons)--we have been shopping there since a store opened not too far from us about a year or two ago. The entire time peanut butter has been $1.39 a container and I've been waiting for the price to increase. Yesterday it was $1.27. Peanut butter and jelly time!

I am speechless! Looking at your bunny avatar, I can see him, er her, outrunning whatever is pursuing her. I guess those calories must be burned off somehow.
