Free "Quicken Alternative"? ACE Money Mgmt

I have not used or heard of AceMoney Lite. The limiting factor is the number of accounts. If you have just 2 bank accounts or 1 investing account and one bank account, then it would work for you.

But it is worth a try. When you hit the account limit, then it would only cost $40 for the full version. You would know by then if it is good.

Also suggest reading through the user group forum for opinions. The link is at the top of the page you posted.

With Quicken Deluxe being available for less than $30 for a download, I am OK with that.

You never know when the other guys go out of business and then you have ancient software that cannot be upgraded.

I would keep to name brands for financial software.

AceMoney lite is free, the full product I think is $39.99.

GnuCash is opensource and free

Moneydance is another one that seems to have good reviews
