hsa question

I will have an hsa eligible insurance policy for 3 months and then switch to a non-hsa eligible insurance policy. Can I put money into my hsa account for that year and if so can it be the max. or only 25% of the max?

thanks rewahoo for the reply. 25% is better than nothing. With the cost of my old policy, I had no choice but to change to one with a higher deductible which was not eligibloe for an hsa.
