I've Gone Two Weeks

I've now gone a whole two weeks without checking the status of the market in the middle of the day. That is, I've waited until it closes.

Next week, I'm going to try going two days without checking!

I have all mutual fund portfolio set up in my yahoo list and I usually check my investments each evening to see how I did for the day.  If all my funds go up one cent for the day my portfolio is up just over $200.  Of course, I'm also down $200 when they go down a penny.  I admit, I sometimes don't look when I know the market is down a lot.

I don't count on it until the day is over and the mutual fund changes get posted. Kinda like not being happy you get a check in the mail until it actually clears.
