Just paid $79 for a one-year subscription to ESPlanner's online retirement tool.

Relieved to see that I now have 3 points of reference on safe spending and they all agree. What I found interesting with ESPlanner was that the maximized plan did increase our discretionary spending but at the cost of spending while we're young.

It delayed SS until age 70 for both of us but at a cost of reducing our discretionary spending by $20k / year from now until we're 70. Uh, nope!
