Are there gated communities w/o golf?

Our condo is in a gated no-golf community in Az. It's not 55+ restricted, but I believe the smaller units/little open space, etc has deterred families with kids from moving in. I suspect that our development is about 50% snowbirds. We do have a pool and a little workout are/clubhouse.

I too was looking for a no-golf community. I narrowed down my searches by looking on Google Earth to see where the golf courses were in relation to the condo developments. Since many are not listed as golf or no-golf, I was able to weed out golf condos by seeing their proximity to golf courses on the map.
