DW gave notice Friday

Step 1 in our E.R. journey completed on Friday as DW gave her notice. May 25th marks the end of her teaching career in public education and the start of a new and exciting adventure. I'm really happy for her as this last year has been tough. She's going to take some short term substitute teaching assignments this fall until I step up to the plate in November. To help stave off OMY syndrome I've been reading How to Retire Happy Wild & Free.

Congratulations. My DW, a 4th grade teacher, also just gave notice and I can't wait for her not to have all the stress.
