It was meant to be. I told my manager last August that I wanted to have 4 day weekends and work 25 hrs per week with benefits. He said no so I gave my notice. The next morning I was standing by our executive getting coffee, which never happens, and he congratulated me on retiring early. I explained the deal that I wanted and 2 hrs later my manager changed his mind. So no I am semi retired.

Some times things happen for a reason.
