Hi, everyone! A couple of years ago I plunged back into lurk mode on the boards here because our plans to buy a larger home and then work towards FI altered considerably due to challenges and needs in our extended family.
Two years and a very helpful mortgage broker later, and we've been able to continue our financial support of our extended family, turn our previous home into a rental and purchase a larger, wonderful home in our neighborhood!
I'm thrilled to be in this position, and am back because I need to kickstart our budget and debt repayment situation. The financial changes of the past few months mean that our prior budget needs tweaking and I need to re-evaluate and restructure our spending and saving patterns.
So happy to be back, and very excited (and a little daunted) with the challenges ahead -- paying off some home-improvement related debt, and re-evaluating the possibilities of ER!
