Went through the Megacorp / Hewitt administered website for healthcare enrollment last week. Now have 2 options for enrollment (used to have 3). Found a $1200 dollar / year error in the tool for comparing healthcare costs and selecting the best plan. I called the help line. The assistant agreed it was an error. I suggested the tool be removed or fixed since many retirees will be using the tool prior to the Nov 13th to make their selections.
She agreed to put priority on it and email me when it was fixed. I received the email it was resolved 2 days ago. I checked the website today and it had not been changed. I phoned Hewitt and got the same response. Sorry they didn't actually fix it, they will elevate the fix, and get back to me.
I had discovered the error, so it didn't really affect me. I reported it so that others did not select the wrong plan because Megacorp / Hewitt was *****.
I'm reporting it here so that others verify that any numbers imported into an online tool by these enrollment websites are actually correct. Might even want to verify the math.
