Excellent - that lifetime membership is worth a whole lot more than the key ring , and it's nice to know that there is no time limit on regaining that status once you have lost it.

Nancy announced that she was going to start a diet to lose some pounds she had put on recently. "Great," Rita exclaimed. "I'm ready to start a diet too. We can be dieting buddies and help each other out. And when I feel the urge to drive out and get a burger and fries, I'll call you first. "Wonderful," Nancy replied. "I'll go with you."

Week Weight
1/5 214.2
1/12 208.4
1/19 206.4
1/26 202.6
2/2 198.2
2/9 196.2
2/16 194.6
2/23 191.6
3/2 189.4
Goal 183.0

I'm pretty stoked: per the Hamwi calculations for a large frame man, my BMI is now "normal" and my weight is within the "normal" range.

Great work racy, keep it up, you're getting real close to your goal. Passing that BMI milestone must feel good.

Alan,

I didn't think English food had a reputation for being that good! Stay away from the crumpets! Have fun on your trip; I'm envious.

Don't mention the crumpets!! They are a favorite of mine, along with fish, chips & mushy peas, pork pies, Yorkshire puds, dumplings, clotted cream with scones, and spotty Dick with custard. None of those foods are considered healthy.

That's great progress, keep it up!

I like the Hamwi calcs as they put me at the low end of my normal range.

I think I know Nancy and Rita....

Official recommitment to WW this morning--up 3.5 lbs. since December 1, 2010, so now I'm setting my goal to lose 28.5 and just get 'er done.

You guys have all been doing great!

Going for another 10% loss?

Seriously, that sounds really aggressive considering how well you've done so far. I'm really impressed. Here's wishing you all the best

yikes, got side tracked and I think I missed last week. Still at 187, I knew the 185-187 range would be a sticking point.... but the weather is turning so I have ample opportunities to increase my exercise.

best of luck to all!!

Now at 14 weeks in range. Last weigh-in this morning before leaving for England. Where we are staying is very hilly and we won't have a car so I'm hoping that by feeding ourselves in our rented house (instead of staying with relatives), and lots of walking will keep the weight in check.

1/12 190.4
1/19 188.8
1/26 188.2
2/2 187.8
2/9 186.2
2/23 185.8

Aren't you the saucy one . I hope England is ready for you!

Restarted WW last Thursday and came down with the flu over the weekend (hmmm, is there a connection?); thanks to WW, I didn't eat ice cream 24/7 to recuperate and had a good weigh-in today.

Goal: to lose 28.5 lbs.
3/9/11, week 1: down 4.8; 23.7 to go.
