FD--and I had you booked at the Market Street Saloon in Charleston for an afternoon of dancing on the bar! And I'd ordered your high heels!

I'm adding more exercises to my week, but still out-partying my healthy weeks on the weekends. No weight loss to report, but I'm getting stronger at least!
Next week starts my 6 week hooping class--looking forward to mixing that in with the trainer and pole dancing that are both 2x a week.

Interesting, Vinny........on February 15th I gave up ALL sodas, diet or otherwise. I feel better now. I did NOT give up my one vice, fresh brewed unsweetened iced tea. Thus, I did not get the caffeine headaches.........

Today: Clothed but no shoes, 136#. No weight loss, and no pig-outs or lie-ins to blame for the lack of one; but at least I have not been hungry.

I've also stopped drinking soda. I used to drink a couple of diet sodas every day. For some reason, I simply got out of the habit. I put Splenda in my tea and coffee, though.

187 lbs this morning, so -3 lbs.

....but I have to admit I'm starting to get tired. 8 hours of exercise a week is hard.

8 hours of exercise a week is hard.

Yet it's also hard to get serious results by doing less than that. (I would love for someone to say, "no, you're wrong, wrong, wrong" and prove that you can get really fit on 4 hours of exercise or less per week).

Don't get me wrong, the P90X workouts are a lot of fun, but if you fail to get a full night's sleep more than one or two nights, you feel like you are dragging. Then the temptation to eat bad things starts to rise as you replace sleep with food.

Still 130# and ok with that for now. I have stopped the upward trend! Now, to get it going downward...

I have exercised every day since Sat, except for today. Will be back at it tomorrow. I packed a bag full of exercise clothes and also full of snacks. I change at work, have a snack, and head straight to the gym. So far, this is helping me workout more consistently.

Khan, I remember when you hurt your wrist, and couldn't use your frying pan. Now that you're feeling better, are you back to manhandling the big pan once again?

Freebird...consistency is downright enviable, considering what we're hearing from you lately...lobsters, chocolate chip cookies...guess you must be feeding them all to fiance' and not having any yourself

Yes, took about 3 months. We are so fragile.

Am using 1 April as my own New Year Day to get back in stride.

Those are my occasional splurges. My trick is repeated and consistent activity, but nothing strenuous. When housebound in winter, I set my kitchen timer for 1 hour. When it chimes, I get up and do something for at least 30 minutes. It could be up and down stairs for laundry, it could be vaccuuming up dog hair, it could be jumping on my exercise bike, it could be dancing in the living room with the tunes cranked.
I eat very little during the day. I'm hoping my daytime activity exceeds my calorie intake. My next step is to get some real exercise going with outside yardwork .
Normal MO for wintertime was gaining up to 5 lbs, so no weight gain is a real victory.
