I am down 1/2 pound so 4 pounds to go .My clothes are getting loose especially my pants so I may have to invest in new clothes soon.

Reported on this thread going from 200 to 176ish back in 2007 and held onto it for about 2 years, then crept up to 198 again. Bummer. Started running into a few old low back issues and since my semi-ER job (I'm 51 now) requires being in good shape I definitely had to take action. So worked my way back down to 178 this spring, but this time with a lot more effort into low back strengthening (lots of abdom exercises in addition to mostly swimming, a few minor weights, blah, blah) and a couple more prolo treatments. Seems like 170ish is just too much work to maintain for me (6 ft). The extra ab stuff is a PITA but it does help the back along with the prolo. Now I just have to keep it going for more than 2 years. Hopefully this thread will still be kickin around for inspiration:)

I for got weigh in this morning but I weighed myself yesterday and I was up .5 pound . Probably the picnic I went to over the week-end .
 
Had my weigh-in Tuesday and I'm down two pounds from two weeks ago. So the downward trend continues, despite limited exercise.

My big win today was going to Ross and finding two pairs of pants off the rack that I could get in to. And not plus sizes, either! I haven't bought pants anywhere but at the big girl store (Lane Bryant) for five years. Oh my goodness, I can actually start shopping now!

So I did. It was not a frugal day. ;)

Money spent on clothes because you are too small for your existing wardrobe does not count in LBYM, just for the record :) .

Surprised to hold onto 121 considering I ate horribly on Saturday (eating out Mexican...never good for the diet!).
 
I am down a pound and a half so three pounds to my goal . I am thrilled . When I reach my goal I may try for four more pounds .

I think when you're close to a nice weight, the loss slows down no matter what, so that is amazing!

I weigh in tomorrow after 10 days in Europe. Fortunately or not, we were not in France or Italy, where I know I would have very happily gained several pounds, so I hope the WI will be good.
 
I've been in England since June 8 so have not been weighing in, and internet access has been 'patchy' a lot of the time but I have been watching this thread and you guys are doing a great job, keep up the good work.

We won't be back on the scales until 3rd week in August. Trying to keep lots of exercise going - my jeans still fit but I think the ale and too much food is going to end up with bad news. A lot of time with family where it is very hard to control what is served up, but we're having a great time now.

I am truly amazed you lost weight after a 2 week vacation. Kudos!
 
Well I am surprised since I did do some cheating last week . I had a dairy queen blizzard . it was great . I also had mashed potatoes but I am still down 1/2 pound . 2 1/2 pounds to my goal .
