Anyone ever tested the morningstar "fair value" assessment of a stock as a guideline for individual security buying or idea generating?
Going to track the companies they list as below 0.75 (25% below) fair value and see what happens in 1 - 2 years.
I saw a rather big overlap between that list and some value investors portfolios, so getting curious. Not investing any money there though.
