What Billy & I agree on in a retirement location is good weather, good cost of living, access to an international airport, availability of fresh, tasty food, reasonable healthcare costs, easy transport options, internet access and easy social living.

What matters most, I think, is to know what is important to you in locating 'the perfect retirement place.' Where one person likes the beach, another might want the mountains. Where one loves the theater or dancing, another might prefer time in nature. So what works for us may clearly not work for you.
