Just went into NYC and other than a bazillion people around the city, I sure will not miss the crowds the Xmas tree was really beautiful.

Ice skaters on the ice in front 5th ave with all the storefronts. Really getting into the spirt of the season.

In the Desert Southwest I need to head off to see the Tumbleweed Tree. That is the official tree for the City of Chandler (Phoenix bedroom community). The City employees gather up the weeds and then net it up with chicken wire, spray it with a white flocking and then decorate it up all pretty. Most nites you can walk around it and maybe see 1 or 2 families in the 5 to 10 minutes you are strolling around. It is usually about 40 ft tall and we enjoy the unusual "tree" here.
