Site traffic and posters

Dori,
I'm courious; has the traffic on this site decreased?
Has the number of new posters decreased?

My guess is that it has slowed down over the last week due to the holidays. People aren't stuck at work and forced to surf the web! ;D

Pretty stable month to month -- see the chart below of the past 6 months visits and pageviews.

I don't have an easy way to check the rate of new posters.

Here is the same info on a daily basis. Pretty consistent. (There were 2-3 days when we didn't collect stats right after a software update, which is why you see a few zero days there.)

Dory, am I correct that the forum picked up about 1100 new members this year??

Sounds about right. Here is a thread about the 100,000th post, and 2000 members then.

Now we're a little over double that many posts, and 3100 members.

I guess this proves that perception and reality can be two different things.
