Those guys needed a financial advisor. They were definitely incapable of DIY.

I remember when I lived in Virginia, the only place that you could buy hard liquor was at the ABC (Alcoholic Beverage Control). Booze is a state monopoly that brings in $280 million a year http://www.abc.virginia.gov/admin/aboutabc.html. How long before the government gets in the drug business to make a little money.

I tend to think you are right about the only way the drug problem will be solved if the state gets involved and provides safe; low cost drugs.

Focusing on the sellers is not working. And since the 60s the idea of providing a progressive (meaning an incremential drug counciling, intradiction etc.) to the user is unpopular only the leaves state providing the drugs. They would be cheaper and safer that way at least.

wowzers! That's a lot of money. I handle about 1 to 1.5 million a day in cash at work, but that's a heck of a lot more cash.

If they need help "counting" it, I'm free ;)

I wonder how much homeowners insurance they had in the event of a fire? Ouch, the thought of it hurts!
