Does anyone know the tax efficiency of the following ETF's or maybe able to point me to a data source I can use to make my own determination.

Dow Dividend Index (DVY)
Power Shares International Dividend (PID)

Thanks

In the last 12 months, PID has paid $0.547 per share in dividends with the share price mostly between 18 and 20 a share. That's a yield of about 2.9%. ETFConnect has the distribution rate at 2.92% and the current distribution rate at 2.76%. That is not particularly tax-efficient. I own it and have called all the dividends "qualified" on my tax return. OTOH, just about any broad set of stocks will yield 1.5% to 1.8%.

I did not see any "foreign tax paid" on my statements like I do for other foreign investments, so maybe they don't pass that through for our tax credit. That would be a negative.
