Vanguard Total Stock Market Index - of course, theorywise that is.

But then again I've only been investing for forty years - have a Curmudgeon certificate downloaded from this very forum, have old emotional battle scars from prior investments over the decades - and I listen to my opinion only.

age 64 - Target Retirement 2015 for my real retirement with 40% covered by pension and SS.

The real question is why do you ask - what is the assigned mission of the fund.

To a certain extent why you own something is more important than what you pick. The first will often answer the second.
