MPW

[hillstreet]

I like Medical Properties Trust (MPW) It is an MLP. The yield is approx. 10% on the dividend side. A nice mix to a portfolio. Even in the Subprime meltdown, it held quite steady under the circumstances. Would not put all of my eggs in this basket, but it compliments some of my other selections.

It looks ok, but the projected earnings are dropping rapidly. You'd think healthcare stocks would be a no brainer. Go figure.
