Some time ago, SIL setup our Mac so that pics in i-photo flowed automatically to Picasa and I was trained how to send pics to the Picasa cloud and then the links to those pics in an e-mail so others could view them. This was before the Google+ happened. I successfully did that a number of times and documented the process for the future.
Yesterday I tried to do the same thing. Things didn't act quite the same and , though I could select the pics and create the web album, I couldn't send the e-mail with the link to people. After playing around for awhile, I gave up and decided to exit. I then got a message saying something to the effect that data was being compacted? and process might take a while. I waited a while and then closed things up. I later noticed that the shortcut link to Picasa was not working anymore and the same thing is true this morning.
What happened? Did the birth of Google+ mess me up?
