We passed the 400K mark today! DW and I are both 32. We're almost one year ahead of our savings goals to reach FI. Only 18 years left!
Sounds good Dallas! I'll let you know when we get there.
Agreed - I wish I'd had 400K when I was 32.Very impressive for your young age.
Me, too. I just checked and that was the first year I started keeping records of our retirement savings. Our total nest egg: 1.9K.Agreed - I wish I'd had 400K when I was 32.

Good work. We're almost one year ahead of our savings goals to reach FI.
Ahead, behind … it really doesn't matter, reaching FIRE is not a competition. Your relative position should not be a motivator, as it could cause you to scale back or even cease your savings (if ahead, "we don't need to"; if behind, "what's the use?").I know we're ahead of others.
Good work.
